Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. This individual will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our property while ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort. In addition to typical housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and laundry, the ideal candidate will also have experience or be willing to learn specialized cleaning tasks, including carpet cleaning, appliance cleaning, window washing, and other deep cleaning services.

 

Key Responsibilities:

General Housekeeping:

- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.

- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and living areas.

- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels as needed.

- Organize and tidy up living spaces, including arranging furniture and personal items.

- Launder and fold clothes, towels, linens, and other household fabrics.

 

Specialized Cleaning:

- Clean carpets and rugs using appropriate cleaning equipment, including vacuuming and shampooing.

- Wash windows, both interior and exterior, ensuring a streak-free finish.

- Deep clean kitchen appliances (refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, etc.), including removing grease buildup and ensuring all surfaces are spotless.

- Clean and maintain air conditioning units, fans, and other household systems.

- Perform deep cleaning tasks, including baseboard cleaning, ceiling fan dusting, and wall washing.

  

Additional Responsibilities:

- Assist with inventory and restocking of household cleaning supplies.

- Ensure cleaning tools and equipment are properly maintained and in good working order.

- Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices for cleaning and sanitation.

- Communicate any maintenance needs or issues to the appropriate personnel.

- Provide additional services or assist with special projects as needed (e.g., organizing, event preparation, etc.).

Qualifications:

 

- Experience:

  - Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial work is preferred.

  - Experience with specialized cleaning (carpet, appliances, windows) is a plus but not required.

- Skills:

  - Strong attention to detail and ability to identify areas that need cleaning or maintenance.

  - Good physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.

  - Ability to operate cleaning machinery (e.g., carpet shampooers, pressure washers) and tools safely.

  - Knowledge of proper cleaning products and chemicals.

- Personal Attributes:

  - Trustworthy, responsible, and dependable.

  - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

  - Positive, proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.

  - Ability to work independently and follow instructions.

Physical Requirements:
